Kindergarten for children

Using early childhood education quality assessment tools, we identify the best practices of a teacher and kindergarten, determining the priority areas of development. The project helps to build an effective internal quality assessment system, identify best practices and create a kindergarten-based resource center for other kindergartens in the region

Leadership school

A week-long intensive course for teachers who are ready to change preschool education in their regions. Participants get acquainted with the tools, technologies and competencies of the leader, find like-minded people, become part of an authoritative educational community, and get the opportunity to create a team in their region.

Lecture hall

We discuss the most relevant topics concerning early childhood education with the Russian and foreign experts and practitioners. Educational webinars will be useful for both early childhood education specialists and parents. We select topics from community members' requests to make it easier for you to develop child-centered education.

Summer school

A unique week of interesting events, meetings with leading ECE experts, colleagues from different regions of the country, an opportunity to unite like-minded people, improve professional competencies and develop leadership skills.

Rybakov Preschool Award

Grant support for professionals developing child-centered preschool education: teachers, students, managers and entrepreneurs who create an environment for a happy childhood where the child realizes herself.

People's University of Childhood

The People's University of Childhood project is a platform for experience exchange and professional development. It involves live meetings with educators presenting their real work experience. Each webinar is a creative discovery, discussion of relevant topics, an opportunity to ask a question, express your opinion, share your observations and exchange contacts.

Refresher course

The expert community of the University of Childhood includes leading ECE professionals and educators - carriers of best practices. This allows the creation of particularly effective continuing education programs that will help educators rethink their activities in terms of child-centered education.

Useful materials

Memos and instructions developed by our specialists will help teachers and parents in communicating with children on various occasions. We try to emphasize the important points of the topic brightly and clearly so that you can figure out the topical issues of preschool childhood in several steps - from hygiene to supporting free children's play. Our materials are colorfully designed, and you are welcome to print them and use them in work or life, place them on your social networks and send them via whatsapp, viber, etc.

The project was initiated by community members and provides support to leaders of early childhood education throughout Russia in organizing regional schools of the "University of Childhood". Schools feature talks by regional and federal experts, seminars and master classes on child development and early childhood education. Here you will improve your professional competencies, leadership qualities, find like-minded people, and exchange experience.

Projects created by residents of the University of Childhood community help educators and parents to give children joy through play, reading and communication. We are sure that the variety of projects will make it possible to find activity to the liking of every child or adult.

Game 4D

The project "GAME 4D: Children, Movement, Friendship, Playground" is a large community of like-minded people aimed at reviving children's play. Participants conduct monthly games with children, share photos and comments on games, send video clips of free games, form a unique bank of outdoor games, counting rituals and master classes on making attributes for games.

KnigaBum

he project was initiated by a creative group of teachers of kindergarten № 9 "Birch" in Snezhnogorsk, Murmansk region. Its goal is to popularize reading, to draw attention to the book with the help of book trailers (short videos dedicated to a literary work that arouse interest in reading). The project participants are people interested in introducing literature to preschool children.

Attic of Time

The project was developed by teachers - practitioners from our community to find effective forms of organizing various types of activities for the development of skills of the future through introducing children to the objects of the past.
The "Attic of Time" is the place where, together with your children, you can immerse yourself in a mysterious atmosphere and get acquainted with antiquities, remember the life and culture of our people, compose interesting stories, and tell them.

Game 4D Festival

large-scale action: on a specific day parks, squares and yards all over the country become playgrounds for active games and free play, with open air creative workshops for children and parents. Anyone can become an organizer of the "Game 4D Festival" in their city.

Varenye (Jam)

The tasty-name project was born at the Summer School of Lev Vygotsky Competition. Teams of teachers included in the project can visit each other to immerse themselves in practices, exchange "recipes" and mutually enrich each other, thereby maintaining the momentum of change, developing the quality of early childhood education in their kindergartens.

In the competition of young researchers Research Got Talent, held by the Esomar Association, the University of Childhood Foundation passed the qualifying stage for non-profit organizations and got into the top nine. Due to this, the SocioTeam(VTsIOM) conducted a sociological study that allowed us to assess the potential of public support for the Foundation and analyse the features of the work of preschool teachers according to the Federal State Educational Standard.

Preschool education programme "PROkids" was included in the catalogue "Social entrepreneurship of Russia 2020"

The University of Childhood Foundation was among the finalists of the prestigious international award in the field of public relations PROBA Awards in the nomination "International Communications" with its project: The first international practical online conference "University of Childhood: Noteworthy Practices"

The project of The University of Childhood Foundation "Kindergarten is for children" was included in the acceleration program for ASI leadership projects: 100 leaders in the development of new approaches to education, where only 7 educational projects received personal support from the agency, "Kindergarten-for children" was one of them.

Within the framework of the Research Got Talent competition for young researchers, the SocioTeam(VTSIOM) conducted a sociological study "Personality-oriented preschool education" commissioned by the University of Childhood Foundation, thanks to which it became possible to analyze the features of the work of preschool education teachers according to the Federal State Educational Standard.
